Orissa expressed its happyness and also felt proud on Friday for the inclusion of left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha in Team Indian for the ensuing tri-series in Bangladesh and the Asia Cup in Pakistan.
Though Ojha is known as a promising cricketer of Hyderabad, he originally belongs to Orissa. Born and brought up Bhubaneswar, he went to Hyderabad to pursue studies there.
``I came over here when I was studying in standard eighth,`` Ojha said over telephone from Hyderabad. ``But before that I learnt the basics of the game at Saheed Sporting Club in Bhubaneswar,`` he revealed. ``I played many junior tournaments for the club and the city from 1996 to 2000. I fondly remember those years and I am trying to go to Bhubaneswar for a day before our tour to Bangladesh,`` he said.
